Have you heard of BYD, Huawei, Tata, Ranbaxy, Haier, Natura, Arcelik, Lenovo? These are emerging global brands, many larger than any U.S.-based companies, and creating jobs globally. Lenovo is #2 behind HP in its niche. Huawei is the world’s largest in its industry. Warren Buffet invested in BYD. Who believes the 21st Century will be an “American” century?
We need to stop focusing on petty domestic issues of the Right and Left, and get serious about competing globally.
That means a serious “National” policy/thinking for supporting business creation, a National policy/thinking for educating our citizens for New Economy jobs, and a National Health Insurance program for all Americans (to get U.S. businesses out of the “benefits” business for their employees).
These policies are neither Right nor Left, they are “American”, and will cause both Left and Right to give up some of their precious positioning on out-dated domestic issues, with the goal of moving the U.S. into the 21st Century Global Economic mindset.
